The SBP Zone 9 / SBBRA Referees are set to officiate the Regional SCUAA 2026 Basketball, officially kicking off on April 21, 2026 in Tacloban City, for both Men’s and Women’s categories (5x5 & 3x3).

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Region VIII proudly presents the SBP Technical Academy Accreditation Workshop, featuring distinguished FIBA International Referees and Accreditors — Mr. Dominique “Domz” Pomar and Mr. Arnolfo “Ariel” D. Bermeo.

This event aims to strengthen basketball officiating standards and develop the next generation of technical officials in the region.

Organized by SBBRA (Sinirangan Bisaya Basketball Referees Association) in partnership with SBP Region VIII.

Mr. Arnolfo D. Bermeo is a distinguished FIBA Referee and a respected member of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) officiating community. With years of dedication to the game, he has proudly represented the Philippines in various prestigious international tournaments across Asia and the world.
