Huge congratulations to former ABDA trainees Cedric De la Rosa and Gel Ed Cayobit for advancing to the next round of the Batang Gilas tryouts in Manila! 🇵🇭🏀

Out of 130 aspirants from Visayas and Mindanao, only 20 players were shortlisted during the rigorous selection held at Magnum Sports Complex, Cebu City last February 21. The tryouts were led by Gilas Youth Head Coach Juno Sauler, making this achievement even more significant.

Your hard work, discipline, and commitment to the game continue to raise the bar. ABDA is proud of you both — keep grinding and represent with pride! 💪🔥

🏀 ABDA 2025 General Assembly 🏀

Held last November 8, 2025, at the Libertad Gym, Tacloban City, the Aktibong Basketbolista Development Academy (ABDA) gathered over 30 trainees, parents, guardians, and coaches for a meaningful and inspiring assembly.

Led by Program Director Julius Lacaba and Technical Director Manolo Cabibihan, the meeting served as an opportunity to orient parents/guardians on the ABDA program, introduce both old and new coaches, and share the academy’s plans and vision for the year ahead.

More than just basketball, ABDA continues to emphasize the values that matter most — education, discipline, and character development. Parents gained a deeper understanding of what drives our dedicated coaches to mentor young athletes not only to excel in sports, but to grow into responsible, values-driven individuals.

Together, we move forward with one goal: to build champions on and off the court. 💪🏀
