𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐊 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐂𝐘𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓!

The Tabuk City Cycling Team once again showcased its exceptional talent and determination as they captured 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐒 in the Batang Pinoy 2025 National Championships, held in General Santos City.

Day 1 – MTB XCO

The young cyclists started strong in the Mountain Bike Cross-Country (XCO) events.
12–13 Category: 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗟 𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗢 𝗝𝗥. claimed the GOLD medal, while 𝗥𝗘𝗨𝗘𝗟 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟𝗢 finished impressively in 5th place.
14–15 Category: 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗟 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗚 also brought home the GOLD, with 𝗚𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗢 successfully finishing the course.
16–17 Category: 𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗔 and 𝗝𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 finished the race, showing grit and endurance.

Day 2 – MTB XCE

The momentum continued in the Cross-Country Eliminator (XCE) events, where Tabuk’s riders shone once again:
12–13 Category: 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗟 𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗢 𝗝𝗥. bagged his second GOLD medal.
14–15 Category: 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗟 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗚 secured his second GOLD medal as well. 𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗔 finished strong in the 16–17 Category.

Road Bike Competitions

The team also competed in the Criterium and Individual Time Trial (ITT) events:

Criterium Race(DAY 1) : 𝗝𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗟 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 placed 7th, while 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗨𝗬𝗔𝗡 did not finish. In the 16–17 Category, 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗜 finished the race and 𝗭𝗔𝗕𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗟 𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗬𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡 did not finish.

Individual Time Trial ( DAY 2): 𝗝𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗟 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 placed 27th, Victor 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗨𝗬𝗔𝗡 29th, 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗜 40th, and 𝗭𝗔𝗕𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗟 𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗬𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡 43rd.

Day 3 – MTB XCT

On the final day, the team capped off their campaign with another victory:

12–13 Category: 𝗥𝗘𝗨𝗘𝗟 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟𝗢 delivered another GOLD medal for Tabuk City. 𝗚𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗢 was unable to finish due to mechanical issues, while 𝗝𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 placed 21st in the 16–17 Category.

With a total of 𝗙𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗦, the Tabuk City Cycling Team continues to bring pride to the city and the province of Kalinga. Their triumph is a testament to the hard work of the athletes, the unwavering support of their parents, and the generosity of sponsors who made their participation possible.

As this year’s competition concludes, Team Tabuk extends its gratitude and congratulations to all its cyclists for a job well done. Their dedication, sportsmanship, and teamwork truly reflect the spirit of Tabukeños.

The team also encourages aspiring young athletes to pursue their passion and join the journey toward Batang Pinoy 2026, keeping the fire of excellence burning for the next generation of champions.

The first two days of the Batang Pinoy 2025 have been a strong showing for our Team Tabuk Cycling Team as they continue to make waves among hundreds of young cyclists across the country!

As we move forward to Day 3 and the final day tomorrow, we continue to cheer for our cyclists to finish strong and defend their title as the Overall MTB Champion—a crown they held at Batang Pinoy 2024 in Palawan.
