USKU Karatedo Showcase at Tabuk City National High School. 🥋

The USKU Karatedo Team had the honor of being invited to perform during the Intramurals and Nutrition Month Celebration of Tabuk City National High School on July 18, 2026.

Five student athletes:
ShiellaVee Jade Lagmay,
Erymeyl Licudo,
James Anga-angan,
Megan Pagaduan, and
Nathaniel Alucod
together with Marcelo Magaway Jr., alumnus of Tabuk City National High School and currently a 4th Year student of Kalinga State University, showcased their skills through basic karate blockings and kata.

The team expresses its gratitude to School Head TeacherJoselito Cabello for the opportunity and to their dedicated Sensei/Coach Robert Dawagan for his continuous guidance and support.

Through Karate, we continue to promote discipline, confidence, respect, and excellence.

Today, July 18, 2026, our USKU Karatedo Team had the honor of being invited to perform at Tabuk City National High School as part of their Intramurals and Nutrition Month celebration.

Five talented karate students from Tabuk City National High School;
ShiellaVee Jade Lagmay,
Erymeyl Licudo,
James Anga-angan,
Megan Pagaduan, and
Nathaniel Alucod together with Alumnus Student Marcelo Magaway Jr., now a 4th Year student of Kalinga State University, showcased their skills through basic karate blockings and kata.

This performance was made possible through the guidance and support of our dedicated Sensei/Coach Robert Dawagan, whose commitment continues to inspire young karate practitioners to embrace discipline, confidence, and the true spirit of martial arts.

Our team extends its sincere appreciation to School Head Teacher Joselito Cabello and the entire Tabuk City National High School community for the invitation and for providing an opportunity to promote the values of martial arts, sportsmanship, and character development among students.

PROUD MOMENT! 🥋

Today, May 30, 2026, our 13 dedicated karate students, together with Sensei Robert Dawagan and their proud parents, showcased their hard work and skills at the karate championship held at Atty. Leonardo Mamba Gymnasium, Centro 2, Tuao, Cagayan.

They brought home a total of

8 Gold medals,
3 Silver medals, and
6 Bronze medals

an amazing achievement that truly reflects their discipline, determination, and passion!

Great news, Karatekas

Karate is now officially recognized by DepEd as part of the Palaro! This is a big step for every athlete who trains with discipline, passion, and heart.

Karate Pilipinas proudly announces the successful conclusion of the online coordination meeting with the Department of Education (DepEd) in preparation for the Palarong Pambansa 2026 to be held in Agusan del Sur.

We are honored to share that Karate has been officially recognized as a demonstration sport and is now part of the official program of the Palaro.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Department of Education, the Philippine Sports Commission, and all stakeholders for their support in promoting Karate and expanding opportunities for young Filipino athletes.

This milestone reflects our continued commitment to grassroots development and the growth of Karate across the nation.

MARCH CELEBRATION 🥋🏆

Today is a simple but meaningful celebration at Iloba Resort and Adventure with our karate champions and their loved ones. After bringing home multiple medals from Baguio City March 1 and Tuguegarao City March 22, 2026, it felt good to finally relax, laugh, and enjoy the moment together.

More than the medals, this day reminded us of the hard work, support, and strong bond we share as a team and as a family. Grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey.
