The 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 proudly congratulates alumni 𝐋𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐮𝐚𝐠-𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚 for her outstanding adjudication run at 𝐗𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝟏𝟑 hosted by 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐬: 𝐀𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲. 🐱

Demonstrating excellence throughout the tournament, she broke as a judge and advanced all the way to the Open Grand Finals, ultimately ending her run as the 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞. 💗✨

Perhaps the true lesson of the tournament is that even long-standing fears can be overcome in the pursuit of excellence — including, apparently, Hello Kitty. 🤔

The 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 proudly celebrates their alumni for her remarkable performance at the 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 hosted by 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐤 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 held last May 15–17, 2026 via Discord.

Recognized as one of the tournament’s standout adjudicators, alumni 𝐋𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐮𝐚𝐠-𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚 broke as a judge and reached all the way to the Open Grand Finals, concluding her run as the 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞. 🥳

From objections to overrules, this proves that once you’ve learned how to argue a case, you never really leave the courtroom. 🤓☝🏻

The 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 proudly celebrates its participants for their remarkable performance at the 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 held last May 9–10, 2026.

Among the tournament’s standout adjudicators, alumni 𝐋𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐮𝐚𝐠-𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚 broke as a judge and advanced all the way to the Open Grand Finals, ending her run as the 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞. 💋

Meanwhile, resident members 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐤𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐳 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐝𝐚, and 𝐑𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐲𝐨 successfully broke as the 7th HS Breaking Team and ended their run as High School Quarterfinalists. 💜

From the chair to the debating floor, the Carascian Debate Varsity continues to define its presence wherever it goes.

The 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 congratulates one of its alumni for an excellent run at the 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 held last May 2–3, 2026.

After stepping away from judging, she made her return to the debate stage and delivered an excellent performance that speaks for itself.

We’re not saying she missed debating. 🫣

But debating definitely missed her. 🥺

We came, we saw, and we didn't get POI’d into oblivion. The first installment of the Guyito Debate Cup is officially a wrap! Huge shoutout to the Organizing Committee for keeping the ship afloat (mostly with caffeine and pure chaos).

The Ateneo Debate Society is proud to announce the results of its contingent to the 1st Guyito Debate Cup, held last February 7–8, 2026 by the 1st GDC Organization Committee! 🏆

🌟 Meredith Zarzuela, Marc Jethro Guerrero, and Kai Cabrera broke 4th, going on to the Open Quarterfinals! Meredith was also awarded 7th Best Open Speaker!

IsDA extends its congratulations to Xena Elisa C. Valdemoro (AB Political Science) and Coach Ashley Briola for breaking as adjudicators in the Guyito Debate Cup 2026, held on February 6-8, 2026, hosted by the CaraScian Debate Varsity.

Xena served as a Reserve Breaking Judge in the tournament.

Coach Ashley Briola (Invited Judge) broke as a judge and served as Open Quarterfinals Chair, Open Semifinals Panelist, and Open Grand Finals Panelist and was recognized as the 10th Best Judge of the tournament.

These accomplishments mark another step in IsDA’s continued contribution to the competitive debate community.
