OBSTAQUA TOURNAMENT
2 contests:
Time Trial (time based) fastest wins
Warrior (race challenge with qualifying, semi-final and final round) -knock out system

Secure your color band during registration. ObstaSwimers who will also participate in the ObstAqua tournament may need to switch bands as the tournament is age based while the swim is distance based. Please secure the necessary bands during registration and immediately replace your swim band with your tournament band upon completion of your ObstaSwim
No band/No body = No tournament
No waiver=No tournament
Attire: any lightweight clothing provided shoulders and/or forearms are exposed.
any form or style footwear is prohibited
Life vest shall be provided and will be strictly worn by
all tournament players.
No Life vest = No Tournament
Time trial:
Tournament referee will call out names and number
By category (NOTE: once all participants of category
are finished , next category
commences regardless of tournament timetable)
Competitors must assemble at the staging area behind
the shoreline in front of the ramp
Each participant will be called to the start line, then
fired off to begin their time trial
Time stops when competitor crosses the finish line

Individual send off and completion
All obstacles must be challenged and attempted but
failed only once.
Failing an obstacle is falling or slipping into the water.
Each obstacles are manned by lifeguard/marshalls who
shall assit you only in case you fail the obstacle
If you fail, quickly swim your way pass the failed
obstacle and a Lifeguard-marshal shall
assist you back to the platform to continue your race
Make sure you go through all obstacle on your course
category, swim through shore and run to the finish line

Fastest kid, junior and Man in both male and female
divisions will be declared Fastest ObstAqua kid, junior or
man and receive awards (6 winners)
ObstAqua Time trial course map will be made available
on event day morning and clearly marked
by category. Please show up before the race briefing to
orient ypurself
Warrior-Challenge race-
per Age category
Qualifying round:
two man challenge. Winner advances to the next
round loser is eliminated instantly.
semi- final:
two man challenge. Winner advances to the next
round loser is eliminated instantly.
final:
two man challenge. Winner becomes the last kid,
junior ,man standing and is declared
Warrior challenge champion and loser is eliminated i
nstantly.
Please assemble at the staging area when your category is called and listen for the referee to call out the names and/or number of each challengers for each round.
In case there is an odd number of participants, one competitor advances automatically to the next round. In case there are odd participants in the finals, final contestants will be contest on a time trial and obstacle completions.
Two participants will challenge each other through the designated obstacles but must do so in a manner where sportsmanlike conduct must be observed at all times and avoid contact or touching other competitor purposely to gain advantage.
Participants may mount the obstacles at the same time but avoid body contact at all times.
If you fall and slip between the obstacles, the nearest marshal may pick help you back into the platform nearest where you fell or before the approaching obstacle.
You must attempt all obstacles only once on the designated course. If you fail ,you must quickly swim ahead of the obstacle and to be pulled up by the obstacle marshal- lifeguard and hurry to the next obstacle
Lifeguard/marshals will strictly enforce the two-man challenge rules and judge each competitor who intentionally or unintentionally touches his/her competitor to gain advantage.
One kid, One junior and One Man in both male and female divisions will receive awards. 6 winners will be declared ObstAqua Warrior champion in their respective category.
