The Calapacuan Gators turned up the defensive intensity in the final quarter to defeat the Ilwas Sharks after trailing for most of the game.

The Sharks controlled the contest through the first three quarters, but the Gators completely flipped the momentum in the fourth. Calapacuan held Ilwas to just 7 points in the final period, using relentless double teams, active hands in the passing lanes, and aggressive pressure on the Sharks' guards to force turnovers.

Jan Mark Moran led the charge with an impressive double-double performance, while the Gators received balanced contributions from across the roster to secure the hard-earned victory.

With the win, the Calapacuan Gators improved to a 3-1 record continuing their rise in the standings. On the other hand, the Ilwas Sharks suffered their second consecutive defeat, dropping to a 2-3 record on the season.

The Wawandue Slayers continued their dominant title defense after surviving a tough challenge from the Sto. Tomas Thomasian Ballers in a hard-fought battle. After a tightly contested second half, the defending champions made the key plays down the stretch to secure another victory.

Mark Piator led the Slayers with a stellar double-double performance of 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Caezar Javier added 18 points and Arvin Tagarda chipped in 17 points to keep Wawandue unbeaten.

The Thomasian Ballers fought until the final buzzer behind Arnold Quiambao's game-high 24 points, while JP Busa recorded an impressive double-double in the losing effort.
