Ticol On Top Our Love of Ticol "Ticol On Top' was created to showcase solely the barangay Ticol, its people, practices, culture and tradition. It will be fun, I assure you.

Friends are encouraged to share stories, videos, post links, photos of events and activities, such as fiesta, baptisms, weddings, birthdays, promotions, new jobs, graduations, sports, religious/community programs or just any get-togethers. Articles should be limited only to Barangay Ticol affairs and, needless to say, should not include those of the neighboring barangays and the capital city. We

discourage articles on political issues, very personal matters and use of disparaging language or words. The creator of this page, Fraulein, was originally from Camarines Sur, one of the six provinces of the Bicol Region. She first came to barangay Ticol in the mid 1960s with her mother Rose Vale, and emigrated to Australia with her own family in early 1980s. However, she still calls Ticol one of her homes. She keeps a holiday home near the elementary school and visits from time to time, to be with her relatives and friends, which are the entire barangay population. Fraulein aims, among others, to showcase the many events held in the barangay, to have everyone share with each other their happy and sad moments, to exchange good tidings or just to keep in touch and say 'hello.' Friends, let's make this an enjoyable page for a better friendship among us. We are proud to be Ticolnons!

Arthritis: Anong Gagawin?

Alam ng mga may arthritis na kapag taglamig ay mas masakit ang kanilang kasu-kasuan. Para bang naninigas ang kanilang litid at nahihirapan silang galawin ang kanilang kamay at paa sa umaga.
Osteoarthritis ang tawag sa sakit na ito. Maraming tao ang magkakaroon nito sa pag-edad.
Tips:
(1) Magsuot ng guantes at medyas sa gabi para hindi malamigan ang iyong kamay at paa,
(2) Magsuot ng jacket kung maginaw sa iyong pupuntahan,
(3) Paggising sa umaga, mag-unat-unat muna ng kamay at paa para lumuwag ang mga litid. Pagkaraan ng 30 minutos ay mababawasan na ang paninigas ng iyong kamay at paa,
(4) Kung kayo’y mataba, magbawas ng timbang para hindi matagtag ang iyong tuhod at paa.
(5) Lagyan ng hot water bag ang parteng masakit. Subukan pa ring i-galaw-galaw ang katawan para hindi tuluyang tumigas ang mga buto.
(6) Huwag agad uminom ng pain reliever at baka makasama ito sa katagalan. Magpatingin sa doktor.
