Heritage in Motion: From the Barrio to the Podium
Summer in the Philippines has always been defined by the heat, the dust, and the thunderous cheers for the Tour of Luzon (or the iconic Marlboro Tour). I grew up as a witness to the grit of legends names like Carlo Guieb, Ariel Maraña, Renato Dolosa, Victor Espiritu, and Rhyan Tanguilig weren't just athletes; they were heroes who taught me that cycling is more than a sport. It is a metaphor for life: you keep pedaling, no matter how steep the climb.
Now in my 40s, that same fire fueled the birth of CICLOVIA.
The Ciclovia Mission
Launched during the uncertainty of the pandemic, Ciclovia was built on a simple, rebellious premise: quality, style, and performance should be accessible to every local rider. We didn't just want to make clothes; we wanted to create armor for the Filipino cyclist.
A Surreal Milestone
The year 2025 marks a historic chapter in our story. In a moment that felt both surreal and destined, Ciclovia has been named the Official Podium Jersey Partner of the Tour of Luzon. To go from a boy watching the race from the roadside to the man providing the fabric of the Champion’s dream is a testament to our brand’s commitment to the sport. Being part of this "Summer Spectacle" isn't just a business deal it’s our contribution to the greatest cycling event in the country.
