From 12U Basketball Team to the R1AA. 🏀
Talk about long-term development. I’ve had these kids since they were 12-13 years old — joining different club leagues around the province to gain experience, training every weekend, and slowly building the habits and mentality needed to compete at a higher level.
I always had the Palarong Pambansa dream in mind, and I knew we had to start early. This journey wasn’t built overnight.
We may not have qualified, but competing against the best high school teams in Region 1 gave us a glimpse of how close the dream really is. At the same time, it reminded us that nothing comes easy at this level. More work, more sacrifice, and more growth ahead.
Still, seeing these boys turn into young men through basketball is already a victory for me as a coach.
Proud of you no matter the defeats. The journey continues. 💪🏽
