I am and will always be thankful to my Sensei. He passed away in 2010, and though it has already been 15 years since his passing, his memory remains fresh in my mind and in my heart. I believe that not only I, but all of his students even those who are no longer active in training still remember him from time to time.

August is his birth month, and on the 11th, he would have turned 89. For this reason, we dedicate our Founding Anniversary celebrations to the month of August. This coming August 30, 2025, we will mark our 29th year anniversary..

My LIONHEART warriors, always remember this:

When we step into tournaments, we rise above all else. Stay focused and composed, no matter the circumstances.
As warriors, we are not shaken by the weather, by biases, or by any shortcomings in the organization. These things are outside our control and we do not let them affect our spirit.
When we fight, we fight to win. And when we lose, we learn. We train harder, grow stronger, and prepare ourselves for the next challenge.

That is the way of a true warrior. Oss!

Another successfully attended seminar this time with 4-time world champion Koji Arimoto!

It’s great to think that you used to only watch him on YouTube, and now you’ve met him in person, trained under him, and even got his autograph!

I hope this inspires you even more to train harderβ€”and more importantly, to share what you’ve learned with the team. Keep pushing forward, Lions! 🦁πŸ’ͺ
