DOUBLE DUEL DAY 2 | Truly, this tournament wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless volunteers, supportive friends, passionate players, and generous sponsors who poured their hearts into making it happen.

It was a beautiful day (and night) full of high spirit, countless smiles, and a deep sense of community that reminded us all why we love this sport. From the blazing afternoon sun to the cool night lights of Ilat North, the courts weren't just a place for competition, they became a home for new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a shared love for the game.

As the curtains fall on that incredible weekend, our hearts are completely full. Thank you, Batangas tennis community, for bringing the energy, the laughter, and the soul. Until the next duel! 🏆🎾🌙

DOUBLE DUEL DAY 2 | It was a colorful battle of wits and style as the courts flooded with a sea of pinks, maroons, whites, and blacks! 👕 The color coordination was on point, but the play was even sharper as these pairs brought the heat to match their vibrant fits. Looking good is half the battle, but out here in Class C, turning heads with your outfits is nothing compared to the absolute masterclass of hustle and power these players are putting on display! 🎾

DOUBLE DUEL DAY 2 | Class C kicked off with the ultimate test of loyalty as family-to-family and friends-to-friends rivalries took center stage! ⚔️ There were no handouts on the court today as friends traded their usual weekend smiles for intense baseline battles and competitive fire. Even when you love your opponent, everyone wanted those ultimate bragging rights in Ilat North, especially with a spot on top of the winner's bracket on the line.

DOUBLE DUEL DAY 1 | In the end, the spectacular Day 1 came down to a battle between the powerhouse players of Labac and Butong right here in Ilat North! After a display of smart play, hustle, and undeniable chemistry, Renz and Gregor claimed the ultimate victory! 🏆🥇

Overall, Day 1 of The Double Duel brought the Batangas beginners tennis community together through nail-biting tiebreaks, fashion face-offs, friendly rivalries, and incredible sportsmanship. Huge congratulations to our champions and to every single player who left their heart on the court last May 23.

DOUBLE DUEL DAY 1 | Class D

Our first two matches featured close friends and regular hitting partners who already knew each other's games inside and out, but the high-stakes pressure and heart-pounding nervousness of a real tournament changed everything! Even the most familiar matchups hit differently under the tourney lights, and it was incredible to watch these pairs fight through the opening jitters to give us a spectacular, high-adrenaline show where friendship was temporarily put on pause for the love of the game. ⚔️🔥

What an absolute thriller of a tournament! The courts were on fire, the rallies were legendary, and the energy was unmatched. A massive congratulations to all our incredible players who left their hearts on the court, and a huge shoutout to our newly crowned champs and special awardees! 👑

THE DOUBLE DUEL: OFFICIAL BRACKETS, SCHEDULES, & TOURNAMENT RULES!

The wait is officially over! The draw is done, the brackets are locked, and the schedules for Day 1 are officially set! Swipe through the photos below to see your matchups and game times. 📄👇

To ensure a smooth, fair, and epic tournament for the entire Batangas tennis community, please review our official house rules and guidelines below before hitting the courts tomorrow:

⏱️ 1. LATE & DEFAULT POLICY
If a late pair defaults while in the Winner's (Upper) Bracket, they move down to the Loser's Bracket, and their opponent gets a walkover win.

If a late pair defaults while already in the Loser's Bracket, they will be officially eliminated from the tournament.

⚔️ 2. MATCH FORMAT & GAMEPLAY
6-Game Pro-Set: First pair to reach 6 games wins the match.

Tiebreaker: If the score reaches a 5-5 tie, a 7-point tiebreak will decide the winner.

Sudden Death: No long deuces! Sudden Death (No-Ad scoring) will be implemented on the SECOND DEUCE.

Warm-up Time: Strictly 5 minutes of on-court warm-up per match.

🛑 3. ON-COURT TECHNICAL RULES
Foot Faults: This will be strictly implemented. No stepping on or inside the baseline before contacting the ball during a serve.

No Catching Balls: Do not catch a ball mid-air even if you think it is going "out." Let the ball bounce first before making the call.

Net Violations: No touching the net with your body or racket, and no reaching over the net to hit the ball.

Line Calls: Please respect the linesmen and umpire's call.

📌 4. IMPORTANT PLAYER REMINDERS
👕 Look the Part: Please make sure you wear your matching outfits with your partner, and don't forget your sunscreen to beat the summer heat!

📋 Coaching Rule: Strictly one (1) coach per pair is allowed on the sidelines.

🍱 Lunch Break: We have a long break in the middle of the day to avoid the intense heat. If you prefer not to leave the venue, we highly recommend bringing your own packed lunch/food.

❤️ 5. SPORTSMANSHIP & COMMUNITY SPIRIT
This tournament is built specifically for the Batangas Beginner Tennis Community. While we love intense competition, absolute respect for your opponents, our hard-working ballboys (pulot), and the organizing team is strictly required. Any excessive shouting, racket smashing, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. Let's keep the environment friendly, active, and fun!
