EVENT: SAN JUAN CITY DISTRICT II CHESS TOURNAMENT
DATE: February 22, 2026
VENUE: P1 Basketball Court, 5th Flr., Barangay Greenhills Bonny Serrano Avenue.

ELIGIBILITY:
1. Exclusive for San Juan City District 2 resident chessplayers only.
2. This event shall be implemented in two(2) group categories:
Category A - Seventeen Yrs old below
Category B - 18yrs old above.

FORMAT:
1. FIDE Laws of chess under blitz system shall be applied
2. Shall be played in seven(7)rounds swiss system one(1) day event.
Activity Schedule:
8:30am round 1
9am round 2
9:30am round 3
10am round 4
10:30am breaktime
11am round 5
11:30 round 6
12nn round 7
12:30pm Awarding Ceremony

3. Time Control: Alloted time per player is Five(5) minutes plus Three(3) seconds increment
4. PENALTIES
Major Violation
1st offense - Oral Warning
2nd Offense - Forfeiture of game.
Minor Violation (Infringement or Infraction)
1st Offense - Oral Warning
2nd Offense - Oral Warning
3rd Offense - Forfeiture of game
