ABOUT TOUCH FOOTBALL

Touch Football (also known as Touch or Touch Rugby), is a minimum contact sport similar to the traditional Filipino game of patintero, but with a player holding a touch football. The sport originated in Australia, as a strategic and less physical training alternative for rugby players, until it grew to become a separate sport in its own right. The

Touch World Cup, its centerpiece event, is held every four years, and is participated by teams from around the globe. The Philippine National Touch Football Team, otherwise known as the Philippine Pythons, finished 9th out of 22 teams in the Mixed Open Division and 12th out of 14 teams in the Women’s Open Division in the 2015 Touch World Cup.

We truly appreciate you lending us your tents for the duration of the tournament.
