Meet the Scorpion: Jalen Revillame๐๐ฆ๐
For Jalen Revillame, basketball is more than competition. It is a chance to play with purpose.
The CEU Malolos point guard describes himself in one word: resilient. A fan of the 2022 Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry, Jalen takes pride in his defense, competitiveness, and willingness to make plays for his teammates.
Wearing the Scorpions jersey carries a deeper meaning for him. โItโs an honor and a responsibility,โ He shared. โIt represents the hard work, sacrifices, and people who helped me get here.โ Above all, he sees the opportunity as a blessing from Jesus and wants to glorify Him through the way he plays.
Being a student-athlete is not always easy. Balancing school, basketball, and personal life can be physically and mentally tiring, but Jalen continues to push forward. He knows he still needs to improve his consistency, decision-making, and strengthโand he is willing to put in the work.
Before every game, He has one important routine: prayer. His favorite verse, Joshua 1:9, reminds him to be strong and courageous and to trust that God is with him through every challenge.
Asked to describe his coach in three words, Jalen answered: โPassionate. Dedicated. Transformative.โ
And when his time as a Scorpion comes to an end, Jalen hopes people remember something simple: he gave everything, stayed humble, never stopped believing, and played for his teammates, his school, his family, and ultimately, Jesus.
