3 KA MGA SPORTING EVENTS, IGADUGANG SA APAAM 2025

Magadugang kang tatlo ka mga sporting events ang Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Antique sa paraabuton nga Antique Provincial Athletic Association Meet (APAAM) sa Disyembre 4-7, 2025.

Sa interview kang K5 News FM San Jose kay Dr. Oliver Servillon, Sports Development Officer kang DepEd-Antique, ana ginpahayag nga ginalakipan dya kang wushu, wrestling kag weightlifting bangod amo dya nga mga event ang wara te naga-representar kang probinsya sa Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet.

Suno kay Dr. Servillion nga ang nasambit nga sporting events ang may maduro ka mga category kag mahimo nga makatugro kang gold medal halin sa mga higher meet.

Bangod kadya, nagpatigayon ang ahensya kang coaches training kag technical officiating training agod nga mapreparahan ang mga coaches sa amo nga mga event.

Sa paraabuton nga APAAM, ginpahayag ni Servillon nga mangin demonstration sports anay ang wrestling kag weightlifting samtang may rugyan naman nga kompetisyon ang wushu.

Maman-an nga ginakabugu-usan kang 25 ka mga sporting events ang nagapasakop sa APAAM 2025 sa diin dya ang pagasipalan kang mga atleta halin sa 5 ka mga cluster sa probinsya.

🏆 Batang Pinoy 2025: From Antique to General Santos - A Journey of Champions! 🥋

What an epic 10-day adventure to the Batang Pinoy 2025 National Championships! Our journey started on October 22nd at 1:00 AM, traveling from Antique to Gen San via sedan and minivan, crossing seas and traversing from Bacolod, Dumaguete, and Dapitan before finally arriving at General Santos City National High School for billeting. Whew! What a ride! 🗺️

Despite the long travel, our athletes were immediately ready for action. We trained, explored the Batang Pinoy Night Market, and visited our venues: Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College for Muaythai and Robinson's Place Gen San for Kickboxing.

Our warriors fought with unmatched heart and spirit! While our kickboxers faced tough competition, the Muaythai team brought home the hardware! Huge congratulations to our medalists from Antique National School:

🥈 Silver Medalist: W***y L. Fillone Jr. in the 12-13 y.o. Male under 32KG Combat Category!
🥉 Bronze Medalist: Angela Paola M. Valenzuela in the 12-13 y.o. Female under 36KG Combat Category!

We fought hard, we learned much, and we made memories that will last a lifetime. 🎉

🌟 Celebration and Safe Return

We started our return trip on October 31st, stopping for a well-deserved celebration and relaxation at Campuestohan Highland Resort in Negros before finally arriving safe in our beloved Antique today, November 2, 2025!
