As our journey in Cong. Duke Frasco Cup 2026 comes to an end, we would like to thank the people who supported Team San Francisco Lakers Women’s Volleyball Team.
Our final standing may be 1–2, and with formidable teams like Catmon and Compostela still in contention, our chances of advancing to the semifinal round became very difficult.
We knew what was at stake when we stepped onto the court against Carmen. We gave everything we had to win the game—our energy, our preparation, our heart. And, God did.
While we fell short of our goal, we leave this tournament with valuable lessons. Every match taught us something. Every challenge helped us grow. And every setback became an opportunity to learn.
To our players, thank you for your dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment. You represented San Francisco with pride, courage, and sportsmanship. No result can take that away from you.
I would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Cabungaan, especially the Punong Barangay Hon. Aldin M. Garrido, for generously allowing us to use your gym for our training sessions. Your support gave us a place to prepare, improve, and come together as a team.
To San Francisco SK Federation President Hon. Hannah Liaz, thank you for believing in us and supporting our team throughout this journey. Your presence and assistance meant so much to our players and coaching staff.
To Mayor Hon. Al Arquillano, thank you for your support and for continually promoting sports and opportunities for our athletes. We are grateful for your commitment to the development of sports in our municipality.
To our families, friends, supporters, and everyone who included us in their prayers—thank you. Your messages, cheers, presence, and prayers carried us through every game. We may not have achieved the outcome we hoped for, but knowing that our community stood behind us made every battle worthwhile.
This season may be over for us, but this is not the end. We will carry these lessons forward, continue working hard, and return stronger than before.
We may walk away without a semifinal berth, but we walk away with experience, character, and the pride of knowing that we gave everything we had.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for being part of this journey.
Padayon, San Francisco.💜🤍🏐
