⚡ Thursday. Saturday. Rainy. Unpredictable.
They still showed up.
Not because it was easy. Because they wanted to. Because teammates were waiting. Because somewhere along the way, we realized that messy play and happy mistakes are actually what make practice worth it.
Growth isn't just learning to dribble better. It's choosing to show up when the weather says no. It's helping a teammate up. It's wanting to come back — even after a tough session.
We'll definitely keep on checking weather forecasts 😅 — safety is of course a priority. Remember that day right after practice when a windstorm hit out of nowhere? Felt like a mini tornado. Scary for a second, but also… fun and interesting? 😂 The kids loved it (once the panic passed). But hey — we have grassroots players here, not special ops trainees. We don't train to be first in harm's way. We just train to have fun, learn, and grow.
That's the win. That's the discipline. That's the love.
See you next week. 💚
