At Fun De Soleil Beach Resort, your safety is our priority. As Tropical Storm Kristine (Trami) approaches, we want to remind everyone to stay safe and take extra precautions during the stormy weather. Following advice from PAGASA and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), here are some key tips to ensure your safety:

1. Stay Updated
Monitor weather alerts and updates through reliable sources like PAGASA. Stay informed about storm developments and any evacuation orders in your area.

2. Prepare Your Essentials
Pack an emergency kit with food, water, first aid supplies, flashlights, and any important documents in waterproof containers, as recommended by the Red Cross.

3. Secure Your Space
Make sure to close windows and secure any loose items outside to prevent damage from strong winds. Keep gutters and drains clear to avoid water buildup and flooding.

4. Avoid Dangerous Areas
Steer clear of flooded streets and avoid walking or driving through moving water. According to CDC, as little as 6 inches of water can knock a person off their feet.

5. Follow Local Safety Instructions
If local authorities recommend evacuation, follow their advice immediately. Stay indoors during the storm, away from windows and glass doors.
