Sagada–Besao JKA once again hosted a promotion at Quarry Bay, Sagada, Mountain Province, 5th floor.

The activity started at 8:00 a.m. with the Gasshuku, which lasted until 3:00 p.m., followed by the promotion exam (kyu grading) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

There were 27 kyu participants in the Gasshuku and 22 participants who took part in the promotion, two of whom were Dan candidates from the other Dojo(JKA BAUKO).

Our sincere gratitude goes to Sensei Charleston Buking of JKA Sagada–Besao,Sensei Herme Pelingen of JKA Latrinidad, Sensei Denis Mangatam, Shihan Gilleto Luague JKA Philippines Chairman, and his team for their dedication in teaching and facilitating the Gasshuku and promotion exam. Their guidance and commitment made this event a success.

Heartfelt congratulations to all the karatekas who were promoted. Your hard work, discipline, and perseverance have truly paid off.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to the parents and families for their unwavering support, preparation, and assistance in every need. Your dedication played a vital role in making this event meaningful and successful.

🥋JKA Sagada–Besao Chapter 🥋

The JKA Sagada–Besao Chapter is proudly affiliated with the Japan Karate Association (JKA), promoting Shotokan Karate and instilling discipline, respect, confidence, and self-defense among children and youth in Sagada and Besao.

Through regular training and guidance, we aim to develop not only strong karate skills but also good character and sportsmanship.
