Senior Master York Cañete and Senior Master Denmark Cañete of Momoy Cañete San Miguel Eskrima-ODP have been promoted to the prestigious rank of GRANDMASTER by none other than Supreme Grandmaster Andres "Cano" Cañete. This is a significant milestone in their martial arts journey, reflecting their unwavering dedication, skill, and deep understanding of this traditional Filipino martial art specifically the San Miguel Eskrima system.

Their promotion to Grandmaster status is not just a personal achievement, but a moment of pride for the entire Momoy Cañete San Miguel Eskrima-ODP community.

Orihinal Doce Pares USA is honored to be hosting a training seminar led by Supreme Grandmaster Andres “Cano” Cañete from Cebu City, Philippines. He is the only son of the late great Grandmaster Felimon “Momoy” Cañete, founder of San Miguel Eskrima of the Doce Pares Club (1932). GM Cano stands as the foremost instructor of San Miguel Eskrima (Orihinal Doce Pares); as he maintains and continues to teach the original applications, practices and methods as taught by his father.
