A LOVE THAT ENDURES ALL THE WAY TO THE SUMMIT

The right person sent by God will never grow tired of loving you.
Hindi ka niya iiwan kapag mahirap ka nang mahalin.
Hindi ka niya susukuan kapag may pagsubok.
At hindi ka niya papalitan kapag may mas
"madaling" option.
Because when love is rooted in Christ,
it is patient,
it is faithful,
it endures.
Pray for the kind of love that honors God.
Wait for the kind of love that feels like peace, not confusion.
And trust that the one prepared for you will stay - not just in good days, but especially in the hard ones.
Godly love doesn't get tired.
It stays. It fights. It chooses you - every single day.

👣 LEAVE NOTHING BUT FOOTPRINTS 👣

Mountains do not apologize for being steep. They rise in silence, carrying the weight of time, storms, and scars carved by the past. Yet, despite their harsh edges and unforgiving heights, they remain standing—patient, resilient, and whole.

Forgiveness is much the same.
To forgive is to climb a mountain within ourselves. Every step upward brings back memories of pain, betrayal, and wounds that once felt impossible to heal. The journey is slow. The air grows thin with doubt. Sometimes, we stumble and want to turn back, choosing anger because it feels easier than letting go.

But mountains teach us that strength is not found in avoiding the climb—it is found in enduring it.
At the summit, forgiveness does not erase what happened. The scars remain, like cracks in stone. Yet from that height, we gain clarity. We see how small our burdens become when viewed with compassion. We realize that forgiveness is not for those who hurt us—it is for ourselves, so we can finally breathe freely again.

Just as mountains stand tall after countless storms, forgiveness allows the heart to rise after suffering. It is not weakness. It is courage shaped by pain, and peace earned through struggle.

And in choosing to forgive, we discover that even the heaviest mountains can become places of healing.

Some people arrive in the mountains like they’re hosting a weekend get-together.

Loud music.
Shouting across campsites.
Trash piled neatly—as if neat trash is still acceptable.

They treat the outdoors like borrowed space, assuming someone else will fix it later.

But the mountains are not your backyard party.

There’s no cleanup crew.
No barangay tanod reminding you to behave.
No neighbors knocking to complain.

Out there, your behavior echoes longer than you think.

Music travels farther.
Trash stays longer.
Fire scars don’t fade easily.

What feels like “just having fun” to one group becomes disruption to everyone else—and damage to the place itself.

Camping isn’t about dominating space.
It’s about sharing it quietly.

The mountains don’t ask you to be silent.
They ask you to be mindful.

Mindful that others came for peace.
Mindful that animals live there full-time.
Mindful that the land absorbs everything you leave behind.

When you party like nothing matters, you reveal something.
Not confidence—but entitlement.

Because respect shows when no one is forcing you to behave.

A real outdoor experience doesn’t need noise to feel alive.
It doesn’t need chaos to feel memorable.

Some of the best nights outdoors are the quiet ones—
Where stories are shared softly.
Where laughter doesn’t overpower the wind.
Where the fire warms, not destroys.

The mountains don’t need you to impress them.
They need you to leave them intact.

Enjoy yourself. Laugh. Celebrate.
Just remember—you’re a guest.

And guests don’t trash the house.

The Two Types of People Whom God Has Placed in Your Life

There are two types of people God has placed in your life. The first one is, the people who are there only for a season; and the second one is, the people who are there for all seasons.
You need to remember this, seasonal people will surely go because they are not meant to stay for a longer time. You don’t need to blame anyone or any circumstance for that matter. It’s bound to happen, only a matter of time. They have to go not because they are bad people (although some of them are), it’s just that God has placed them in your life only for a season, and sad to say, the season is over. Wisdom tells us, there is a season for everything (Eccl. 3:1), some are just longer, while others are shorter, at times even shorter than you realized.
The apostle John helps us understand this, he writes: “They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us” (1 John 2:19). Take note, if they had belonged to us, they would have stayed with us. The reason they went from us is that they did not really belong to us. These are the people whom God has placed in your life for a season. One of the hardest words to say is “Good bye” but there comes a time that you need to say it, say it with poise.
The apostle Paul had a similar predicament. He writes, “Everyone in the province of Asia has deserted me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes” (1 Tim. 1:15). Ouch! It hurts, everyone deserted Paul. This is terribly painful. And yet, what can he do? Nothing, just accept the fact that there are seasonal people in your life like Phygelus and Hermogenes. The apostle Paul continues, “May the Lord show mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains” (Verse 16). Keep in mind that despite the betrayal, God refreshes you through the “Onesiphoruses” of your life. These are the real friends who will stay with you through thick and thin, in good times and bad times. Wisdom tells us that real friends love at all times (Prov. 17:17). Don’t mind the “Phygeluses” and the “Hermogeneses”, these are the people whom God has placed in your life for a season –and the season is over. In God’s equilibrium, He has placed “Onesiphoruses” in your life to love you, to support you and to refresh you all throughout the many seasons of your life.
Don’t be discouraged by the people who have deserted you. But rather, be encouraged to know that there are people who decided to stay with you (few though) not because they need to take sides, but rather, these are people whom God in His infinite wisdom know that you need in the next season and/or in the many seasons of your life. On top of this, the new faces whom God in his foreknowledge has ordained to be part of your life for the next season.
Honestly, there is a mixed emotion here. You feel sad to say “good bye” –and at the same time, you feel excited to say “hello” to the new fellows.

Start the new year with the right perspective.
