🇵🇭 HISTORY MADE AT PNP NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS 🇧🇷

Today, the Philippine National Police welcomed one of the greatest legends in the history of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Grand Master Rigan Machado, a 9th Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Red Belt, conducted a special seminar at the PNP National Headquarters, Camp Crame—a truly historic occasion for Philippine martial arts.

This milestone is even more significant as Grand Master Rigan Machado becomes the first 9th Degree Red Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu history to ever set foot in the Philippines. His visit marks a defining moment for the growth of authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and the continued development of Law Enforcement Jiu-Jitsu in the country.

More than just techniques, the seminar emphasized the core values of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—discipline, respect, humility, technical excellence, and lifelong learning. Officers from the Philippine National Police had the rare privilege of learning directly from one of the sport’s most accomplished pioneers, whose influence has shaped generations of practitioners around the world.

This achievement would not have been possible without the collective efforts of everyone committed to advancing Jiu-Jitsu within law enforcement and promoting safer, more effective control tactics through continuous education and training.

This is more than a seminar.
