Philippine Thai Boxing Association An umbrella organization of Muaythai clubs/gyms in the PH. ROBERTO B. VALDEZ (1969-2009) was the forerunner of PHILIPPINE THAI BOXING ASSOCIATION. Mr. ELIZARDO C.

A Regional Unit of a National Sports Federation (NSF) that was established before the demise of former PH Muaythai president Mr. Since year 2007, the group has successfully organized semipro and amateur muaythai fights. In 2013, it broke ties with the NSF. The well-meaning step was simply to preserve whatever was left of the original National Federation. VALLEGA is the first president of PTBA and

the current organization’s members already include clubs/gyms outside the National Capital Region as well as the organization's tournaments and activities. It continues to uphold the same tradition.
