Player A has the athleticism and skill, pero questionable ang basketball IQ.

Player B isn’t the most athletic or skilled, pero siya yung nakakakita ng laro differently and makes the right decisions.

Player C gives you the balance. Good athlete, elite skill, decent feel for the game.

Walang perfect player. The question is, ano ang pinaka importante sayo when building a winning team?

Building a team isn’t just about drafting the best player. It’s about drafting the right player.

Sa Pilipinas, bihira ang legitimate 6’10 big man. Pero paano kung may pagkakataon kang kunin ang isang 6’2 generational talent?

Sino ang pipiliin mo?

Less than 1% of basketball players will ever make it to the professional level.

And even if you do, the journey isn’t always what people imagine.

Based on what I’ve seen and experienced, especially outside the PBA, there are times when agreements fall through, delayed or wala talagang pasahod, game fixing and some organizations fall short of the professionalism players deserve.

That’s the side of pro basketball that rarely gets talked about.

Given the odds and the reality, would you still chase the dream? Why?
