RAIN OR SHINE, THE MAROON SPIRIT LIVES ON!

The UP Varsity Pep Drummers and Crowdleaders proudly welcomed the newest batch of Iskolar ng Bayan at the University Welcome Assembly 2026 last September 7. The team led freshies, shiftees, transferees, and new graduate students in learning UP’s staple cheers, filling the venue with energy, pride, and school spirit!

The enthusiasm never wavered despite the rainy weather. As the assembly came to a close and the attendees exited the venue, the VPDC continued to play and cheer during the traditional UWA Salubong, sending them off with iconic beats and unwavering maroon pride.
