Hey ASHS‼️ Looking for a new sport to try out?👀 Ever been interested in swordplay?⚔️ Well, here’s your opportunity to try it out on the pistè! 🤩

The Ateneo Fencing Team (AFet) is looking for new members! 🦅

No experience?🤷🏻‍♂️ No Problem! We are willing to take in anyone 🫂 who is eager to train and learn 🧠 the sport!

Last February 11-14, 2020, the UAAP Season 82 Fencing Championship was held at the Paco Arena. The Ateneo de Manila High School Fencing Team, which consisted of junior high school and senior high students, was the 1st runner-up in the Junior Boys Division. The team was led by Coach Walter Torres, Avelino Victorino, Edward Daliva, and Ryan Janeo. Congratulations to the following who earned medals at the said competition:

[BTS Ateneo Fencing]

“Fencing is a tough sport that requires speed, coordination, and concentration. These challenges taught me determination, resilience, hard work, courage and boosted my self-confidence. Teamwork is a must in this sport and I am grateful to have amazing and supportive teammates who challenge and inspire me to keep going when practices and competitions get difficult. I will always treasure our memories as a team. These facets helped me become a person truly passionate about fencing.”
