Bikefixph is no longer in operation as of February 15, 2023.
Thank you to all our clients, those that took a chance and the ones that became regulars, for trusting us with your bikes. You gave us purpose and stability in a time where most businesses struggled to survive.
Thank you for your patience during times when we were overwhelmed with work and backlogs.
Thank you for partnering with us for your events, advocacies and races. These showed us that our work wasn't just about the bikes but about the communities that revolved around them.

I am forever grateful for the opportunities that have come and friendships formed from this small enterprise that was started as a means to survive when I lost my job in the pandemic.

Onwards and upwards 🙌

Quick way to check your tubeless tire sealant level and condition.
Get yourself a small cable tie and cut off the pointy end.
Remove your valve cores.
Stick the cable tie all the way inside the valve stem with the valve at the 6 o'clock position.
Pull out the cable tie and some sealant should be on the end of it. You can estimate how much sealant is inside your tires by how much of the cable tie is covered. You can also tell a bit about the sealant condition, if it's too clear and watery or if it still looks fresh.
This is also a good time to clean out the valve stems and replace cores if you've noticed it's difficult to inflate your tires.

Fluid flush for these TRP HYRD brakes
These brakes and similar designs are prone to becoming spongy. Due to the close proximity of the caliper and reservoir, the heat from the brake pads have less chance to dissipate before oveheating the whole system. My suggestion is to use bigger rotors. Avoid the usual 140mm rear rotor on some road and gravel bikes and go with 160mm front and rear. Also learn to use both brakes and to modulate braking pressure. Avoid continuous use of just one brake as this will cause an overheat and boil the brake fluid.
