π₯π *FROM THE DOJO TO ASIAβS 40 UNDER 40: WHY INCLUSION MATTERS IN MARTIAL ARTS*
We are proud to share that Sensei Arra Jeuneze Corpuz, Founder and Head Instructor of Arena Fitness Dojo, has been recognized among **Asiaβs 40 Under 40 2026** by TradeFlock Asia.
What makes this recognition especially meaningful to us is the story behind it.
The feature, βTurning Movement into a Philosophy of Inclusion,β highlights Arraβs work across education, Aikido, Wushu/Kung Fu, Taichi, international judging, coaching, and the development of **Movement Is for Every Body**.
π₯ **At Arena Fitness Dojo, Aikido is an important part of that philosophy.**
Aikido teaches us to work with what is in front of us rather than simply forcing everything into one predetermined form.
That principle extends beyond technique.
People enter the dojo with different bodies, backgrounds, experiences, confidence levels, learning styles, ages, and goals.
Some come because they want to learn self-defense.
Some want discipline.
Some want to become stronger.
Some are looking for confidence.
Some simply want to move.
Our responsibility as instructors is not to make every student fit the same mold.
It is to create an environment where each person can **learn, adapt, practice, improve, and belong.**
That is what **Movement Is for Every Body** means to us.
And inclusion does not mean lowering standards.
Aikido can still demand precision, discipline, awareness, commitment, and continuous improvement.
Wushu and Kung Fu can still pursue technical excellence and competitive achievement.
Taichi can still be practiced with depth and discipline.
The difference is that **excellence does not have to be exclusive.**
We can pursue mastery while keeping the door open.
We can build strong martial artists without deciding that only a certain kind of person belongs in martial arts.
We can teach discipline without creating intimidation.
We can pursue competition while remembering that movement has value even when there is no medal at the end.
π± From our students who are taking their first steps on the mat, to our athletes competing internationally, every journey begins somewhere.
And every journey deserves a place to begin.
Congratulations, Sensei Arra, on this recognition among **Asiaβs 40 Under 40 2026**.
More importantly, thank you for continuing to build a dojo around a simple belief:
**MOVEMENT IS FOR EVERY BODY.**
