The last misconception which emanates from the documentary ‘Ginga’ is that Futsal players are not as fast or fit as outdoor players. In a recent study comparing the two sports, Futsal players came up as being faster, stronger and had better aerobic capacity.

I wrote this article as I have been involved in many conversations with people who claim to know Futsal, yet they are quite off the mark. Also I know there are many outdoor coaches who don’t know Futsal and confuse it with the English form of indoor soccer, which is quite different.

I hope this helps you not only understand the game of Futsal, but to also embrace it and even get involved in it.

The focus so far has been on getting players playing futsal, but having built that base there is the potential to hone the talent to serve the sport itself. “Our view was to get the participation growing first and add the quality second,” he explained.

But now they are out to cultivate the coaches to grow the talent, keeping in mind the short relationship between England and futsal. “[The coaches' needs] are very different to those in Portugal, Spain and Italy where perhaps their inherent knowledge of futsal is far different to that of those here. Grassroots is always a long-term project. Building a vast network of national academies, youth teams, and facilities takes a lot of time and investment. And if other countries have been doing this far better than the Philippines and are only likely to improve, how can the Philippines ever catch up?…

IT IS TIME TO IMPROVE and to modernize. This October, this court will again be refurbished. Roof, drainage, bathrooms electrical, lighting system will be repaired and Most of all, this October the flooring will be replaced from concrete to TARAFLEX SURFACE (all weather). By the first quarter of 2015 lights Will be L.E.D. We will provide a good sound system and an electronic scoreboard with separate shot clocks.
