Coach Dino Ballecer recently completed another round of competition in an international chess tournament, facing strong titled players from various countries, including Grandmasters GM Vignesh NR (2515) and GM Shyam Nikhil (2435).
Despite the demanding level of competition, Coach Dino finished the day with an impressive score of 1.5 points out of 2 games. The result reflects not only his playing strength but also the effectiveness of the principles and training methods he continues to share with his students.
As a full-time chess coach rather than an active professional player, Coach Dino views the experience as a valuable opportunity to demonstrate that sound fundamentals, disciplined preparation, strategic thinking, and consistent training can remain competitive even against Grandmaster-level opposition.
