Usually, when I head to places like Lake Tahoe or the Bay Area, I’m debating between a road shoe and a trail shoe. For this trip, the HOKA Mach 6 did both. It's built for the road, but it's ready for anything.
I’m calling the Mach 6 the Overachieving, Unexpected Do-It-All. It’s snappy and firm enough for those morning pavement miles, but the rubber outsole has enough bite to handle the loose gravel and packed dirt around Lake Tahoe.
