A bright prospect for the bamboo industry.

The government is working for a robust and sustainable bamboo industry and positioning the country as a key player in the global bamboo industry. They are encouraging people to plant bamboo on idle lands or in flooded and landslide-prone areas and waterways to help in their environmental campaign. Bamboo is used for flood control, riverbank stabilization, and reforestation. Its roots help prevent soil erosion and control floods.

Can bamboo be the next money-earning and environment-friendly industry in Davao City?
