OSC Canaman Chapter
Acceptance Rite and Promotion
June 14, 2026**
Today, twelve neophytes were officially accepted as members of **Okinawa Shorin-ryu Clan Elopre Ha, Inc. (OSC) Canaman Chapter**.
The program started with a prayer, followed by the opening remarks, message, acceptance rite, mass promotion, and closing remarks.
Ld. Poma shared in her opening remarks that the goal of OSC is to develop members into better individualsโreal champions in life.
In the message of Fr. Erwin Bismonte, the parish priest of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, the venue of the Canaman Chapter, he said that the founder, Fr. Benedicto Elopre, established this karate organization to attract more young people and bring them closer to God.
He added that life must be balancedโphysically healthy, mentally healthy, emotionally healthy, and spiritually healthy. Therefore, mental health issues have no place in all Oscians because they are trained to endure pain and hardship. They do not give up easily in the face of lifeโs challenges. What they are doing now is preparation for future hardships that may come. And when those problems arise, they will not easily fall.
The program concluded with the closing remarks of Ld. B**g Tiponses. He reminded the Migs to remember all the words shared by Fr. Erwin.
