From young dreamers taking their first steps on the pitch to seasoned players ready to leave their mark, the 2nd 8 A-Side Mayor's Cup Football Tournament promises two days of unforgettable football action.

In line with the Ribhong Pastrana 2026 – Civil Service Month Celebration and Socio-Cultural Activities, the Pastrana Football Club, headed by Mr. William Palamos, together with the Local Government Unit of Pastranaunder the leadership of 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁. 𝐂𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐜𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐬, 𝐑.𝐍., Municipal Mayor, and with the active participation of 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 "𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐢" 𝐂𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐜𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐬, Vice-Chairperson on the Committee on Sports and Youth Development, proudly presents the 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝟖 𝐀-𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

Set to take place on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗-𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the Juan Villablanca Memorial High School Grounds, District IV, Pastrana, Leyte, the tournament will be officially officiated by the Eastern Visayas Regional Football Association (EVRFA).

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Meeting for Proposed Football Tournament for Town Fiesta Conducted

Last August 4, 2026, Pastrana Football Club convened a meeting to discuss the proposal for an upcoming football tournament in line with the municipality's forthcoming town festivities. The meeting was spearheaded by Pastrana FC Coach/Adviser - Sir William Palamos, together with Team Captain - Mark Niño Banatan, Club Officers; Secretary/Team Manager - Arianna Metran, Treasurer - John Luis Militante and members from the different categories of the club.

During the meeting, the team discussed the possibilities, technical requirements, and preparations necessary for the successful conduct of the proposed tournament. Various ideas and recommendations were carefully considered to ensure that the event will not only provide quality competition but also contribute to the continued growth of football in the municipality. As of this writing, the proposal is undergoing proper evaluation and processing through the Local Government Unit. While no final decision has yet been made, the club remains hopeful and grateful that initiatives such as these continue to be explored for the benefit of the local football community.

Pastrana Football Club sincerely thanks the LGU-Pastrana headed by Municipal Mayor, Hon. Maritess B. Cayaco-Marcos, local leaders, stakeholders, and everyone who continues to support sports development in the municipality. Efforts like these provide opportunities for athletes to inspire more young people to become involved in sports.

As always, Pastrana FC remains committed to working alongside partners and supporters in creating meaningful opportunities for present and future generations of athletes.

The recent Palo Fiesta Cup 2026 was more than a tournament for Pastrana Football Club. 𝗣𝗙𝗖 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗦 | Under 17 claims Palo Fiesta Cup 2026 Championship

Pastrana Football Club's Under 17 Category delivered an outstanding performance in the Palo Fiesta Cup 2026 8-A-Side Football Tournament, finishing as 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 after a strong showing throughout the competition held on August 1–2, 2026, in Palo, Leyte.

The title marks a memorable result for the category as they continue to build momentum and represent Pastrana in various football competitions. Against quality opponents, the team displayed discipline and teamwork on the field, proving that preparation and commitment remains key to success.

In the Under 17 division, Pastrana FC emerged as champions, followed by Total Football FC in second place and Palo FC in third place. Leading the team's scoring efforts was 𝙍𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙨, whose goals helped steer the squad toward a championship finish.

Pastrana Football Club proudly recognizes the remarkable performance of its Men's Open Category, which finished as 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙧 in the Palo Fiesta Cup 2026 8-A-Side Football Tournament held on August 1–2, 2026 in Palo, Leyte.

Throughout the tournament, the team demonstrated composure and strong teamwork against a competitive field of clubs. Their effort carried them all the way to a runner-up finish, marking another proud moment for the Pastrana football community.

In the Men's Open division, Los Miembros FC claimed the championship title, while Pastrana FC finished in second place and Palo FC secured third place. Contributing to the team's campaign was 𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙮 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙨, who found the back of the net and added to Pastrana FC's strong showing in the tournament.

Pastrana Football Club proudly celebrates the achievement of its Under 15 Category, which secured 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 in the Palo Fiesta Cup 2026 8-A-Side Football Tournament held on August 1–2, 2026 in Palo, Leyte.

Facing strong competition throughout the tournament, the young Pastrananhon footballers displayed determination and teamwork on the field. Their efforts earned them a place among the tournament's top-performing teams, adding another milestone to the growing journey of Pastrana FC.

In the Under 15 category, KNHS FC of Kananga emerged as champions, while Total Football FC finished in second place. Pastrana FC claimed third place, with 𝙂𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙖ñ𝙚𝙩𝙚 contributing the team's goal during the tournament.

𝗣𝗙𝗖 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗦 | Under 19 claims 1st place in 4th Sangyaw 2026 National Open Football Tournament

Pastrana Football Club proudly celebrates the success of its Under 19 Category, which secured 1st Place in the recently concluded Sangyaw 2026 National Open 8A-Side Football Tournament held in Tacloban City last June 20-21, 2026.

Competing against talented teams from different areas, our young footballers displayed teamwork and discipline throughout the tournament. Their hard work on and off the field paid off as they brought home another proud achievement for the Pastrana football community. Joining the category's top finishers were Maydolong Football Club as Champions and Biliran Football United as 2nd Place. Leading the scoring for Pastrana FC were Gio Cañete with three (3) goals, Melvin Catayoc with two (2) goals, and Marvic Keith Catayoc with one (1) goal.
