Our client, Mam Tin.
On her 10th training session, we tested her first ever deadlift 1RM to measure the strength she’s been building consistently.
At first, she struggled to break the bar off the floor. Instead of forcing the lift, we paused.I gave her the right cues, fixed a few technical flaws, and most importantly reminded her to trust the strength she already earned.
After a quick demo, some light chitchat to ease the pressure, and a reset in mindset, we managed to set a new Deadlift PR. This wasn’t just about lifting heavier. It was about confidence under load, patience, and showing up when things feel hard.
