About the workshop leaders
Chappy Callanta is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, nutrition coach, and performance enhancement coach. Aside from handling personal clients, He is currently also the head strength and conditioning coach of the Alab Pilipinas basketball team as well as the De Lasalle men's basketball team. He is also a resource person, speaker, and workshop leader for many corporations and conventions. Aside from that, he has a weekly radio show in Klite 103.5 and writes for numerous publications.
He will talk about how to structure a strength and conditioning program specifically for basketball athletes and how to conduct sessions in a team setting.
Gelo Misajon is a physical therapist licensed in both the Philippines and in the United States. He is currently working for De La Salle University Men's Basketball team and Alab Pilipinas. He usually deals with common and complex basketball related injuries from the sprain to post op related cases.
He will talk about the basics and importance of manual therapy in the rehabilitation setting and in game application.
