Intensity gets results—but only when it’s applied intelligently.
One of the biggest misconceptions about CrossFit is that every workout should be an all-out effort. In reality, that’s not how long-term progress is built.
Some days are meant for pushing your limits. Other days are for refining movement, improving technique, or simply moving well to recover. Knowing the difference is what keeps you progressing instead of burning out.
If you’re constantly exhausted, your form is breaking down, or you’re training through pain, going harder isn’t the answer. Smart athletes adjust their intensity so they can keep showing up, training consistently, and improving over time.
The goal isn’t to win every workout. The goal is to become fitter, healthier, and more resilient for years to come.
