Tough news: Leg 4 is cancelled 😞

Due to the low number of sign-ups, we’ve made the difficult decision not to push through with YWF Leg 4 on Sep. 12 at Climb Anytime, Cagayan de Oro. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, especially for those who were planning on competing in this leg. To participating competitors, parents, and guardians, we emailed you regarding options for refunds and next steps.

We have definitely learned from this experience and will apply those learnings to future events. Our next competition will be on Sep. 26 at Climb Central Manila.

YWF Leg 3 was a blast — on and off the mats! 🐒

As the first provincial leg in this year’s series, we always look forward to visiting new places, meeting new people, and being just one big climbing family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Besides the exciting climbs, we also helped ourselves to 🦪unli-talaba 🍗inasal and 🥣batchoy 😋

YWF leg 3 is in the 🎒👏🏻

It was a whole day affair that started with a climb-all-you-can and capped off with a nail-biting finals 💅

At the end of a very full day, we’re all winners! We’re thankful for sunny skies, an organized team, gracious sponsors, supportive parents, and game-on competitors who made this event one for the books 🥰

Are you ready for our first YWF event outside Luzon this season? 😁

The organizing team has set up a very special event for you guys. Instead of the usual single competition round, the Iloilo leg will have qualifying and final rounds. This leg will also be the second of three YWF events sanctioned as a PCI Youth & Kids Development Pool qualifier 💪

For all Leg 3 competitors:

🔩 please do NOT go to the gym on Friday because we’ll be route setting

Throwback: YWF Leg 1 in 2016 😱

Back then, Climb Central Manila was the newest gym on the block and the walls were only half as full as they are now 🧗

Climbing has grown so much in the last decade, but it’s good to see so many familiar faces still climbing today. Proof that climbing just gets better with age 😁

Presenting: The winners from YWF Leg 2 at Power Up Alabang 🥇🥈🥉

Rope climbing events are special because climbers get to practice three different styles: top rope, lead, and speed. Last weekend, we watched as competitors gave Spiderman a run for his money 🕸️🕷️

Congratulations to all the winners – the future of sport climbing is looking bright ✨ and thank you to the organizing team and all our sponsors, including our facility partner Power Up Alabang Power Up Climbing Gyms – we couldn’t have done this without all of you 💪🏻

Get ready for the first provincial competition on our roster: Leg 3 will be a bouldering competition in Vertex, Iloilo, on August 22, 2026. This event is one of three PCI qualifiers, where podium winners get a chance to be part of the PCI Youth & Kids Developmental Pool.
