is the newest and fastest growing program in sport performance training. HIT's curriculum focuses on functional fitness that incorporates everyday movements with different load capacities and time requirements. HIT stimulates the body’s metabolic and cardiovascular system to increase heart and overall health. HIT is the ideal program for those who want to experience a fast paced, whole body, sport

geared workout designed around simple and functional movements that strengthen and enhance your body. At HIT, our ability to scale our workout to your individual needs and abilities means that anyone, at any skill level, can jump into a class and pick up the movements, the concepts, and the intensity. Based around the Workout of the Day (WOD) developed by our in-house professionals. HIT programs focuses on the development and improvement of the 10 physical skills that comprise Constantly Varies. Functional Movements performed at a High Intensity. Cardiovascular/Respiratory endurance: The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen. Stamina: The ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and utilize energy. Strength: The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force. Flexibility: the ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint. Power: The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time. Speed: The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement. Coordination: The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement. Agility: The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another. Balance: The ability to control the placement of the body’s center of gravity in relation to its support base. Accuracy: The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.

In line with the recent events, we have decided to close the gym for an indefinite period starting tomorrow. We believe that the safety of our clients and coaches come first. We advise everyone to please stay at home. Let us all do our part in fighting this war against the coronavirus.

In lieu of the temporary closure of the gym, we will be suspending your memberships until we resume operations. We cannot give you a definite date as to when we will open again. This will depend on the severity of the situation in the coming days/weeks.

How time flies... and just like that 2019 is about to come to an end. Tis the month of festivities and gatherings, but don't let that keep you from squeezing in a workout from time to time! Keep hustling!

Hit Arena prides itself in its conditioning programs, building engines others can’t even imagine. But lately some of our members have been drawn to working out in the weights room. We started hearing about this program that’s being passed around among the bakal boys. What’s a program without a coach though, right? And so, presenting to you the Client of the Month this November, none other than JAMES REYNALDO AYUN!🏆

James has been guiding some of our members in their powerlifting program by correcting their forms. We applaud people who make progress no matter how small and what better way to measure progress than by making new PRs? We’ve witnessed countless PRs from people who followed him and his program. Every afternoon you can see him doing his own advanced program which involves lifting heavy ass weights. But even with such a tedious program, he still manages to spot people and correct their forms. We joke around by calling him Coach James, but honestly I believe he deserves the title. We need balance in all things… what’s a good engine without strength? Thank you for guiding our members and helping them achieve new PRs before the year ends!

Our Client of the Month for September is Gilbert Asuque! 🏆

Gilbert initially started out lifting weights and doing traditional body building routine. After a while, he got curious about circuit training and tried HitRush. At first, he was a bit hesistant because lifting heavy weights combined with aerobic work is new to him, but it was not long enough until he eventually enjoyed doing high intesity training. What we admired about Gilbert is his character towards being a better version of himself. Even though he was new in class, he was not afraid to make mistakes, ask questions, and take criticisms constructively. He sees interdependence among his peers as a sign of strength rather than weakness which is why he progressed faster than the usual. Moreover, Gilbert did not only diversify his fitness routine, but also fixed his nutrition. He knows that the journey towards having a healthy body starts with a well-balanced nutrition. Even though Gilbert enjoys doing circuit training, he still religiously does his strength training and accessory work after class. Lately, he also started learning basic olympic weight lifiting and gymnastics. What separates Gilbert from the rest is his mindset that the enemy of “best” is “good” which is why he is intensely wired to seek out new things that will help him grow.

Our Client of the Month for August is BJ VILLAFUERTE! 🏆
BJ has been with us for a couple of years already. Him and his wife have been regularly attending the 8am class. He always arrives early and wastes no time in warming up and doing additional mobility exercises to help him move better during a workout and to avoid injuries. He isn’t afraid to move out of his comfort zone and try new movements or skills. Once he recognizes his weaknesses, he would dedicate time to work on them and improve his technique. During the week that I had the privilege of handling the morning classes, I saw how he was aware of his body’s limitations and how he worked around it. At his age, it’s no surprise that he can’t recover as fast and that he’s not as flexible or that he’s experiencing body pains. One morning he came to the gym but instead of joining the 8am class, he did light accessory work in the weights room. He purposefully gives his body the break it needs to recover. He prefers to do active recovery than just lying around doing nothing. He even comes on Saturdays to make-up for his missed workout sessions. His drive to stay active despite the aches and pains that come with aging is worth admiring.

Continue being an inspiration to everyone! 👏

Our Client of the Month for JULY is FRANCIS SANTOS! 🏆

Francis only started going to the gym because if his sister. He used to be amazed at the other clients who did 2-3 workouts in a day, saying he'd never be able to do that. Fast forward to the present, aside from doing more than 1 workout a day, he even does accessory workouts after. I remember how he used to struggle with single unders! He was so awkward with the skip rope... but he practiced it every after class such that he can now do double unders as well! What is great about Francis is that he isn't showy or loud about his progress, but he lets his performance during workouts do the talking. He does whatever workout you give him without complaining or sandbagging the weights. He's open to learning new skills and really dedicates time to work on them. Francis embodies what Hit Arena values in its clients... hard work, consistency, and dedication.
