New update coming to the pool deck soon!

To better support our neurodivergent swimmers, we are currently creating our very own DIY communication board to establish a Highly Iconic Visual Support System.

Instead of using generic clip art, symbols, or cartoon drawings, we are making this ourselves using actual photos of our specific pool environment! Research shows that concrete, real-life visuals are far more effective for information processing in neurodivergent brains than abstract illustrations.

We are so excited to finish crafting this tool and keep making our lessons more accessible, predictable, and inclusive every single day. Stay tuned to see the final board in action!
