The APSTaP 2026 Sports Meet may be over, but the journey of our DCT Greyhounds continues. Behind every victory, every medal, and every championship moment is a school that continues to shape, train, and equip our athletes for greatness.
At Dominican College of Tarlac, we believe that champions are not simply bornβthey are built through discipline, proper training, dedication, and the right equipment. From the court to the training room, our athletes are given the tools they need to sharpen their skills, strengthen their bodies, and prepare for every challenge that comes their way.
These equipment and facilities are more than just toolsβthey are part of the journey that molds our young athletes into stronger, more confident, and more determined Greyhounds. Every training session, every repetition, and every sacrifice brings them one step closer to their goals.
But beyond all these, our Greyhounds are taught something far greater than athletic excellence. They are formed in discipline, strengthened by perseverance, and grounded in a deep foundation of faith in God and devotion to the teachings and example of St. Dominic.
For our athletes, the pursuit of victory is not only about standing on the podium. It is about learning to work with discipline, compete with integrity, remain humble in victory, stand strong in defeat, and trust in God throughout the journey. Their strength comes not only from training their bodies, but also from shaping their character and nurturing their faith.
More than all of these, none of this would have been possible without the continuous and unwavering support of our School Administrator, Sr. Lorna I. Ablog, O.P. Her commitment to the growth and development of our student-athletes has helped provide the resources, opportunities, and support they need to train, compete, and excel. Her belief in our athletes continues to inspire them to reach greater heights.
To our School Administrator, thank you for believing in our Greyhounds and for continuously investing in the dreams, talents, character, and future of our student-athletes.
The championship may be the reward, but the training is where champions are madeβand faith, discipline, and character are what make them worthy of the title.
