‎Department of Agriculture-XI ug President sa Beekeepers Network Philippines Foundation, Inc., iyang gipasiugda nga ang mga buyog maoy importanteng “ka-partner” sa agrikultura ug kon walay mga buyog, maapektuhan ang produksyon sa pagkaon ug mahimong moubos ang ani sa mga tanom.

‎Gani karong Mayo 20, 2026, isip pag-ila sa importansya sa mga buyog, i-selebrar ang World Bee Day aron mapataas ang kahibalo sa publiko kabahin sa importansya sa mga buyog sa produksyon sa pagkaon ug pagmintinar sa kinaiyahan.

‎Gipahimangnoan usab niya ang paggamit sa synthetic fertilizers nga makadaot sa populasyon sa buyog tungod kon magpadayon ang pagkamatay niini, posibleng maapektuhan ang suplay sa prutas ug gulay nga nagkinahanglan og pollination.
