| Inaasahan na magpapasiklab ang mga top swimmers na bansa dahil inaprubahan na ng FINA ang hiling ng Philippine Swimming, Inc. na gawing qualifying event para sa mga nakatakdang international competitions ngayong taon ay 2022 PSI Long Course Grand Prix National Championships.

Magaganap ang National Finals sa October 13-16 sa NCC Aquatics Center sa Tarlac na magsisilbing qualifier para sa 16th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) sa Melbourne, Australia ngayong taon at 20th FINA World Championships sa Fukuoka, Japan sa taong 2023.
