A Proud Pawingnian, Forever in Our Hearts 💚💛🕊️

There are moments when words are not enough to express the sorrow of losing someone who once became part of our school’s story.

The Pawing NHS community extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘇𝗼—a proud Pawingnian alumna, a former Miss Pawing NHS when our school was still known as Palo NHS – Pawing Annex, and a talented athlete who also became part of the Leyte Sports Academy (LSA) family.

Sophia carried the name of Pawing NHS with pride. She represented our school with grace, confidence, determination, and the spirit of a true Pawingnian. Her journey as a student, a titleholder, and an athlete became part of the memories and legacy she leaves behind.

As we remember her, the Pawing NHS family joins her loved ones in mourning her passing, celebrating her life, and honoring the beautiful journey she shared with our community.

Sophia, your time as a Pawingnian may have been only one chapter of your life, but it was a chapter that made us proud. The halls of your alma mater may no longer hear your footsteps, but the memories of the young woman who once walked them will remain.

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our Pawing NHS Basketball 3x3 Secondary Boys for bringing home the BRONZE MEDAL at the Palo Municipal Sports Meet 2026! 🏆

In the fast-paced game of 3x3, every possession mattered, every pass had a purpose, and every shot demanded confidence. Our Phoenix showed determination, teamwork, discipline, resilience, and fighting spirit from the first whistle to the final play. 🦅

The journey may end at the municipal level, but this Bronze Medal represents so much more than a place on the podium. It represents the experience gained, lessons learned, friendships strengthened, and challenges overcome along the way.
