This picture is the First Secondary Level team under the banner of San Carlos City to represent the Regional Meet way back 2003-04. The squad was comprised of talents from Colegio de Sto. Tomas Recoletos, Julio Ledesma National High School and added to the selection were the elite talents from La Carlota City and Bago City.

Fact: Most of the players on this squad soon became elite talents in different Universities during their college years. Which paved the way in making San Carlos City as one of the scouting ground for young talents of the sport.

Included in the picture are Head Coach Danilo Marella and Assistant Coach/Trainer Roderick "Tata" Parel. Danilo Marella a.k.a Danny or Danibugs was considered to be a prodigy among the best coaches that came before him; originally the Head Coach of the most dominant high school football team in the City which is CST-R. Under his supervision entails a long reign of unbeaten streak that ranges for over a decade on the said category. He continually made CST-R and San Carlos City a great contender of the sport over the years from local, provincial and regional competitions. Among his glorious achievement was to be crowned as the Champions of the Coke Go for Goal in 1991 Provincial and Regional Eliminations.

Serving under him as his assistant coach Roderick “Tata” Parel, who was also one of the big talents he produced. Tata on his heyday was considered to be one of the best defender and footballer San Carlos City has ever produced and still continues to serve the city for the love of football.
