SEAN JUSTINE CARRILLO: At just 16 years old, Sean Justine Carrillo has made his mark in the volleyball community as a skilled and determined outside hitter. A Grade 11 student at Ipil Senior High School, Sean stands 5’8” tall and has been playing volleyball for three years. His journey into the sport began with the encouragement of his elementary coach, Sir Chito Concon, whose mentorship ignited Sean’s passion for volleyball.
Sean’s dedication to the game has led to remarkable achievements. He earned the title of 2nd Best Outside Hitter in the Ormoc City Interschool Tournament and participated in the EVRAA Elementary Division in 2019, representing his school with pride. His performance on the court showcases his talent, agility, and determination to excel in his position as an outside hitter.
Inspired by his volleyball idols Clifford Nabre, Joevan Dela Peña, Psyche Biato, and Jimbert Miro, Sean constantly strives to improve and elevate his game. Their influence fuels his ambition to succeed in volleyball while also preparing for life beyond the court.
While Sean remains undecided about which college to attend, he is focused on finishing high school and exploring his options. Although unsure of the specific degree he wants to pursue, he has a clear vision for the future: to establish his own business. This goal reflects his entrepreneurial spirit and determination to build a successful life.
Sean Justine Carrillo’s story is one of growth, resilience, and ambition. With his dedication to volleyball and a strong drive to achieve his dreams, he is poised to excel both as an athlete and as a future business owner. His journey serves as an inspiration for young individuals to pursue their passions while planning for a bright and promising future.
