I will be conducting an online talk entitled "Teamwork in the New Normal: The Impact of Remote Work on Team Culture and Coherence." I think adjusting to working remotely is a challenge for many groups and I would like to share my insights for those who are dealing with such a change. I don't have a specific schedule yet but it will likely be held within the next two weeks. It will be for about an hour and I will be charging a small fee. This pandemic has upended lives, including the way we work. As a learning facilitator who thrives on face-to-face interaction in group settings, it has been difficult to adjust my chosen career to these new circumstances. But of course we all have to adapt in order to succeed at what we do. Therefore, I have decided to try delivering my services online.

February 23-24, 2019, was both a leisure and working weekend for me as some of my high school classmates and their families gathered for our 30th anniversary reunion. Knowing that I am a professional facilitator, they hired me to run some fun team building games for them.

It was a pleasure seeing the young once and the young ones team up in a friendly competition. We may be getting old, but playing games together is still one of the best ways to bond and reminisce over old times.

As a team building facilitator, I’m always looking out for ways to increase my knowledge and improve my craft. This book delivers on that front. It’s well-written and easy to read. It’s full of engaging stories and thought-provoking ideas I’m eager to share with my future team building participants. Definitely recommended reading.
