I. The Open Basketball Tournament shall compose of three (3) Divisions:
> Kiddies (14 years old below)
> Mini (16 years old below)
> Midget (17 - 20 years old)
II. Player/s who are qualified to play:
> Player/s who meet the required age classifications is/are
welcome to participate.
> No Sliding Back (Player
/s who played in Mini Division in any
tournament is/are not qualified to play Kiddies Division). Team Members Limitations:
> Participating teams must submit their official line-up to the
committee together with their: Birth Certificate or any ID's
with date of Birth like NBI. (Please bring original copies for
verification) (Kiddies, Mini, Midget) for evaluation and
approval.
> Players are allowed to play in any schedule game. Recognized Team Representatives:
Manager, Coach and Team Captain listed in the official line up
shall be recognized team representatives and shall be
responsible for the behavior, discipline and sportsmanship of
player/s of the respective team. How the Tournament will Run:
a. Elimination Round
> Single Round Robin
b. Quarterfinal Round
> Twice to beat advantage for Team 1,2,3 & 4 in
standing Detailed (1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5)
c. Semi Final Round
> No. 1 vs No.4 and No.2 vs No.3 for the best of three
(3) series game. Final Round
> For Runner up (1 - game series)
> For Championship Game(3 - game series)
e. In case of Tie
> Winner over the other will prevail
f. In case of multiple Tie
> Winner over the other or point system against the
teams involved. VI. Definition of Terms
> Forfeited game - score is 20 -0
> Walkout for default game - score 2-0
> Walkout or default game b team with scores less points -
score will be retained. VII. Prizes

> Most Valuable Player - Cash, trophy & Certificate
> 1st Runner-up - Cash, Trophy & Certificate
> 2nd Runner-up - Trophy & Certificate
