SPORTS | Colleges showcase epic battle skills in the RSU-Wide ML tournament of BIDA Sports Fest Version 2.0
On October 2, 2026, the Bringing Inclusive Development Through Action (BIDA) Sports Fest Version 2.0 featured an RSU-wide Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competition, with each match played in a best-of-three series.
The morning competition opened with an intense clash between RSU-Santa Maria and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Gray Hawks. After dropping the opening game, RSU-Santa Maria bounced back with consecutive victories in the following two games to complete a reverse sweep and secure the series, 2-1, over the Gray Hawks. Meanwhile, the College of Education (CED) Blue Whales dominated RSU-Calatrava in a 2-0 sweep; the Blue Whales controlled both games and left RSU-Calatrava unable to secure a win in the series.
Further into the morning matches, the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) White Wolves, down 1-0 in the series, turned pressure into unyielding strength as they completed a reverse sweep against the Santa Fe gamers, closing the Best-of-Three match with an unexpected 2-1 win. In the final match of the morning session, the San Andres MLBB players asserted their dominance against Romblon, taking two straight victories to seal the match with a commanding 2-0 sweep.
The Cajidocan campus emerged victorious to start the afternoon match, sweeping San Jose 2โ0. Meanwhile, CCMADI and CBA won by default against CAFES and San Agustin, respectively.
In the fourth game, the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Gray Hawks defeated the College of Engineering and Technology, 2โ0. Finally, the Santa Maria campus wrapped up the first day of the ML competition with a dominant 2โ0 victory over Santa Fe.
